Toyota's all-electric bZ Woodland arrives next month as the brand's most rugged battery-electric SUV yet. Built on the foundation of the bZ platform, the Woodland adds adventure-ready capability with 215 mm of ground clearance, standard all-wheel drive, and 1,587 kg (3,500 lbs) of towing capacity. The bZ Woodland lineup starts at $59,900 and delivers 375 hp from its dual-motor electric powertrain, plus up to 452 km of manufacturer-estimated driving range.
The 2026 bZ Woodland is available in two well-equipped grades: bZ Woodland and bZ Woodland Premium. Both trims share the same core specifications—74.7 kWh battery, around 30 minutes DC fast-charging time from 10-80% under ideal conditions, and 2,120 litres of cargo space with rear seats folded.
The 2026 bZ Woodland establishes a strong foundation with comfort and technology features. Heated front seats and heated outboard rear seats come standard, along with a heated steering wheel for cold Ontario mornings. The cabin includes SofTex-trimmed seating, dual-zone automatic climate control, and customizable ambient interior lighting.
Technology highlights include:
The exterior design showcases rugged black overfenders and Toyota's hammerhead front end, adding 140 mm of length and 20 mm of height compared to the standard bZ model. This translates to 2,120 litres of cargo volume with the second-row seatbacks folded flat—220 litres more than its bZ sibling. The Panoramic View Monitor with Multi-Terrain Monitor helps navigate tight trails or parking situations.
All bZ Woodland models come equipped with the North American Charging System (NACS) port, providing access to an expanding network of DC fast-charging stations across Ontario and beyond.
Both trims maintain identical performance specifications: 375 hp total system output, 280 kW of power, and the same 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The battery sits flat under the floor, creating a low centre of gravity for stable handling. A battery cross-framing structure adds overall vehicle rigidity.
The bZ Woodland offers the same electric driving experience across both grades: instant torque delivery from the dual-motor AWD system, Level 3 DC fast-charging capability, and NACS port compatibility for accessing Tesla Supercharger networks. The 215 mm ground clearance and Multi-Terrain Monitor give both grades confidence on unpaved roads or snow-covered driveways.
Drivers can expect up to 452 km of manufacturer-estimated driving range, or 418 km when equipped with optional All-Terrain tires. The towing capacity of 1,587 kg (3,500 lbs) accommodates trailers, bike racks, or cargo carriers for weekend adventures.
The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland arrives next month with Toyota's electric powertrain expertise paired with SUV versatility. Contact Whitby Toyota today to learn more about trim availability and reserve your bZ Woodland.
