The Tundra offers two distinct powertrain choices, each engineered for specific driving needs.
The standard gasoline engine in the Tundra is a 3.4-litre twin-turbo intercooled V6 with a start-stop engine system. In SR grades, this engine delivers 348 horsepower and up to 405 lb-ft of torque. All other grades receive a re-tuned version that generates 389 horsepower and up to 479 lb-ft of torque.
Mated to a 10-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission, the i-FORCE powertrain offers sequential shift mode, uphill/downhill shift logic, and two TOW/HAUL driving modes for enhanced control when hauling cargo or towing trailers. Depending on the configuration, gasoline Tundra models can tow up to 5,440 kg (12,000 lbs).
For drivers seeking maximum power and improved fuel efficiency, the i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain pairs the 3.4-litre twin-turbo V6 with a motor/generator and clutch located within the bell-housing. This setup delivers a combined output of 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque—making it the most powerful Tundra Toyota has ever built.
The hybrid system provides 500 lb-ft of torque from a standing start, giving the Tundra i-FORCE MAX strong acceleration and confident passing power. Fuel efficiency is rated at 11.7L/100 km combined city/highway, and with the 122-litre fuel tank, drivers can cover longer distances between fill-ups. The i-FORCE MAX is rated to tow up to 5,067 kg (11,171 lbs).
The Tundra is available in two cab configurations, each designed to balance passenger space with bed length.
Double Cab: Provides seating for up to five adults and is available with either a Regular Bed (6.5 ft) or Long Bed (8.1 ft). The Double Cab is a practical choice for drivers who need extra bed length for hauling materials, equipment, or recreational gear.
CrewMax Cab: Offers more rear-seat legroom and is available with a Regular Bed (5.5 ft) or Long Bed (6.5 ft). The CrewMax is ideal for families or work crews who prioritize passenger comfort on longer trips.
Both cab styles feature a horizontal dashboard layout with premium materials, a tilting/telescoping steering column, and available dual-zone automatic climate control. All Tundra models come standard with the Toyota Multimedia system, which includes an 8-inch or 14-inch touchscreen depending on the grade, wireless smartphone connectivity, and Bluetooth audio streaming.

The Tundra lineup includes a wide range of grades, each with unique features and styling.
SR: The entry-level grade includes 18-inch styled steel wheels, fabric upholstery, single-zone automatic air conditioning, bi-beam LED headlamps, and the Toyota Smart Key System with Push Button Start. The SR is available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.
SR5: Builds on the SR with 18-inch alloy wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED fog lamps, and the three-setting Drive Mode Select system.
TRD Off Road: Adds rugged capability with unique 18-inch Off Road alloy wheels, TRD Off Road shocks, a TRD grille, rear locking differential, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Downhill Assist Control, Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Select, and Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking.
Limited Nightshade: Features TRD black 20-inch alloy wheels, Nightshade-exclusive black exterior finishes, a panoramic moonroof, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a 14-inch touchscreen, and a power tailgate.
TRD Pro (i-FORCE MAX only): The ultimate off-road Tundra includes 18-inch TRD Pro black forged BBS wheels, a TRD Pro suspension system with 1.1-inch front lift and FOX shocks, TRD skid plate and rock rails, a heritage TOYOTA grille with LED light bar, and a 12-speaker JBL audio system. The TRD Pro is available in the exclusive Wave Maker colour.
Platinum: Loaded with premium comfort features, including leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front massage seats, heated and ventilated rear seats, a digital rearview mirror, head-up display, ambient lighting, and a Panoramic View Monitor.
1794: Takes the Platinum grade in a distinct style direction with grade-specific 20-inch wheels, authentic wood trim, and chrome accents.
Capstone: The top-tier Tundra features striking 22-inch alloy wheels, semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats, sound-deadening acoustic glass, a backlit "CAPSTONE" badge, and unique chrome accents throughout.
The Tundra's modern body-on-frame chassis features a fully-boxed ladder frame designed for strength, rigidity, and handling. On Limited grades and above, the cabin is mounted to the frame with hydraulic cab mounts for even greater ride comfort.
All Tundra truck beds—both Regular and Long Bed—are formed from high-strength sheet-molded compound that offers protection against dents, dings, and rust. A heavy-duty tow hitch receiver and complete tow package come standard on all models, and depending on the configuration, the Tundra can tow between 1,702 kg (3,752 lbs) and 5,440 kg (12,000 lbs).
Every 2026 Tundra features the Toyota Multimedia system, built around Toyota's interface that improves interaction between people and vehicle through sight, touch, and voice. The system integrates wirelessly with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and many functions can be controlled via touchscreen using the same gestures as smartphone screens.
Standard technology features include USB-A and USB-C input and charging ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and SiriusXM Satellite Radio capability. Higher grades add features like a wireless charging dock for smartphones, a 14-inch touchscreen, JBL Premium Audio, and Drive Connect with Intelligent Assistant voice controls and Cloud Navigation.
Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 comes standard on all Tundra models, providing a suite of active safety technologies designed to support driver awareness and decision-making. Key features include:
Additional standard safety features include the Toyota Star Safety System, a backup camera with back guide monitor, eight airbags, and a tire pressure monitor system with auto location. Select grades add Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking, and Panoramic View Monitor.
