Here are the changes made to the Toyota RAV4 for 2022

The 2022 Toyota RAV4 received minor changes to keep it fresh and up to date in a market that is in constant movement.

A new model

The 2022 Toyota RAV4 welcomes a new trim level in its stable, which is now composed of 16 models, including the Hybrid and the Prime powertrains. The SE Hybrid will combine the savings of a hybrid with the style of a sporty model in order to create a vehicle that distinguishes itself. In order to stand out even further from the masses, a new vibrant paint colour, Cavalry blue, is available on this model and some others. This is in addition to the black 18-inch alloy wheels and the monochrome paint scheme, which are both standard. The SE Hybrid is also very well appointed, with features such as a heated steering wheel, a power adjustable driver’s seat, the power tailgate and a 7-inch touch screen.

Many new styling touches

The 2022 Toyota RAV4 benefits from a host of styling tweaks that make it look more modern than the previous model, but also than its competitors. Some of the improvements include the addition of one of two different LED headlamp module to every trim level above the XLE model. This gives the RAV4 a recognisable visual signature, which is further helped by the addition of new LED foglamp modules in most trims. The XSE Hybrid now sports the vertical LED foglamps that were introduced on the RAV4 XSE Prime for the 2021 model year. Other changes include new colours and styles for the alloy wheels of many models. The more adventure oriented models, the TRD OFF-Road and the XSE will share the new Cavalry blue paint scheme with the SE Hybrid, with the addition of a black roof on the XSE, which creates a striking appearance.
