Whitby Toyota is seeking an experienced Service Advisor who is highly motivated and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for outgoing, customer-focused, and results-driven individuals. Experience, quality of work, punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail are a must!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and courteously
- Communicate with customers to determine concerns, required repairs, and timing
- Open repair orders in the DMS system
- Present maintenance menus and advise customers of vehicle needs
- Schedule service appointments using the dealership booking system
- Address minor customer concerns in a professional manner
- Monitor the progress of each repair order, providing updates on changes to estimates or timelines
- Document customer approvals for all repairs and services
- Handle incoming service calls and promptly return messages
- Review completed work with customers and process payments as needed
- Explain warranty coverage and policies to customers
- Stay current with technical and performance information on Toyota vehicles, including completing assigned Toyota University courses
Assist the Service Manager and support team operations as required
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Service Advisor experience (automotive industry preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient with computers and dealership management systems (DMS)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Professional, dependable, and committed to excellent service
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
