The all-new Sequoia is here and it has so much to offer. It features a redesigned exterior look, enhanced interior amenities and comfort along with hybrid technologies that strike the perfect balance between power and efficiency. This three-row SUV is designed to take your family further with more cargo volume, more safety technologies and more reliability than rivals.
Here’s what we can expect from the new 2023 Toyota Sequoia.
New hybrid technologies in the 2023 Toyota Sequoia
This third-generation Sequoia uses Toyota’s latest twin-turbo V6 hybrid i-FORCE MAX powertrain. First unveiled on Tundra, this engine produces no less than 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a precisely engineered 10-speed automatic transmission for optimal performance in all situations. The towing capacity is rated at 9,250 pounds, which can be very practical if you need to tow a boat, snowmobiles or even a car. The Sequoia is also available with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension and Adaptive Variable Suspension, two technologies that are perfect for those who need to tow on a regular basis.
In order to adapt the Sequoia’s powertrain and chassis to different situations, the all-new Drive Mode Select includes Eco, Normal and Sport modes.
The 2023 Toyota Sequoia is filled with technology
Inside, the new Toyota Sequoia is more comfortable and more technologically-advanced than its rivals. Drivers will love the newly designed infotainment system which is accessible via a large 14-inch touchscreen (available). It also features a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) in the base SR5 model.
Drivers who want more ruggedness out of their Sequoia will be happy to learn that SR5 and Limited 4×4 models are offered with the TRD Off-Road package for the first time. This package adds a slew of off-road technologies designed to tackle the trails like a selectable locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain Select and Downhill Assist Control. Crawl Control is also included, and it offers maximum speed control for low-speed trail navigation. Finally, the included TRD-tuned Bilstein monotube shock absorbers make climbing steep hills and tackling rough terrain a breeze.
Inside, Sequoias equipped with the TRD Off-Road package can take advantage of the Multi-Terrain Monitor for a better view of hard-to-see spots on the trail.
The 2023 Toyota Sequoia will arrive in our showroom soon. Contact us for more details about this unique SUV.
