Toyota Extended Care For At Home And Abroad

If Toyota is known for one thing – which, of course, it isn’t; it’s known for a lot more than that – it’s the reliability of their cars, SUVs, crossovers and trucks. Have you seen the Top Gear episode where they try to destroy a Hilux (“Tacoma” here), but can’t? No matter how many times they drown it or drop a building on it, it just keeps on starting.

So when you’re buying a Toyota, you’re buying great features, comfortable interiors, durability and more – but sometimes, no matter how durable your vehicle is, fate has other plans.

That’s where Toyota Extended Care protection (ECP) warranty services come in.

At base, ECP comes in two flavours: Gold and Platinum. With The Gold package, you get up to seven years or 200,00 km of care for 17 major mechanical groups including the cooling system, steering, electrical system, hybrid components and more. Upgrading to Platinum gets you all that plus a whole suite of additional features including no deductible, emergency road assistance and towing, vehicle rental assistance should you be without your Toyota for a number of days and even travel planning assistance.

If you do find yourself stranded, your ECP will offer reimbursements on food, hotel and transportation fees for up to $300 if you happen to be stuck 300 km or further from home. You’re never left out in the cold when on the road when it comes to Toyota Extended care.

Of course, that’s all well and good but we can’t forget about one of the top issues when it comes to driving both near and far: tire health. The newest tire can still be reduced to a soft, sticky mess with just a single stray nail; wouldn’t it be nice to have a plan already in place for when this happens? Well, with ECP tire and rim road hazard protection, you do have a plan already in place, one that covers nails, glass and more – even rim and tire damage due to pothole strikes is covered.

Talk about some peace of mind for the road!
