Toyota Launches Hybrid 2025 Land Cruiser with Enhanced Off-Road Capabilities

Toyota Canada introduces the 2025 Land Cruiser, combining electrified performance with robust off-road capabilities. The new model starts at $69,495 and offers three different versions to suit various adventurers' needs.

Powerful Hybrid Drivetrain and Off-Road Prowess

At the heart of the 2025 Land Cruiser is Toyota's i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain. This system pairs a 2.4L turbocharged engine with an electric motor, delivering 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain enables a 6,000 lb towing capacity, making it versatile for both daily use and outdoor excursions.

All Land Cruiser models feature full-time four-wheel drive with centre and rear locking differentials. This system is complemented by an array of off-road technologies, including Crawl Control, Downhill Assist Control, and an electronic limited-slip differential. Higher trims offer additional features like Multi-Terrain Select and Multi-Terrain Monitor for enhanced off-road performance.

Three Different Versions to Choose From

The Land Cruiser lineup includes three versions:

  • Land Cruiser 1958 ($69,495): Features retro-inspired design elements, 18-inch wheels, and essential connectivity services.

  • Land Cruiser ($78,255): Offers modern styling, advanced off-road features, and upgraded interior amenities.

  • Land Cruiser Premium Package ($84,257): Adds luxury touches, 20-inch wheels, and a premium JBL audio system.

All models come equipped with Toyota Multimedia system, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Safety features are comprehensive across the range, with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 standard on all versions.
