Toyota unveiled two very important models this month, the new 2021 Toyota Sienna and the new 2021 Toyota Venza. One of them is a complete redesign of a model that’s been offered for 10 years now, the Sienna. As for the other, the 2021 Toyota Venza is the return of a mid-size model that was available until 2016.
2021 Toyota Sienna
The Sienna minivan was due for an upgrade. Aesthetically, Toyota has definitely upped the ante and now offers a minivan that no one would be ashamed of driving around the city. Its face, in particular, is inspired by the muzzle of Japanese high-speed trains, which gives it the appearance of an SUV.
On board, everything has been redesigned. The presentation has been greatly modernized and includes a center console that offers a bridge with the dashboard. At the rear, three of the five versions of the model (XSE, Limited and Platinum) will be offered with standard captain's seats in the second row. The latter offer more space than ever and even include footrests for added comfort. In terms of connectivity and safety, buyers can expect a full suite of advanced technologies including the offer will be including blind spot detection on all variants and Toyota Safety Sense active safety technologies.
Most importantly, all versions of the Toyota Sienna 2021 will benefit from a hybrid configuration. The latter will be provided by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, which will be paired with two electric motors. All-wheel drive will also be available with each variant. Fuel consumption is announced at 7.1 liters per 100 kilometers in city/highway combination.
The model is scheduled to debut before the end of 2020.
2021 Toyota Venza

As for the Venza, its comeback is part of a hybrid growth strategy at Toyota, because this model, like the Sienna, will be solely hybrid. It will share the same mechanics, but will see three electrical units coming to his aid. Its power is estimated at 219 horses unlike 243 for the van. The Venza will average just 5.9 litres per 100 kilometres which is spectacular for a midsize SUV.
The Toyota Venza 2021 is positioned between the RAV4 and the Highlander in the range. It will be available this summer. It offers over 1,000 litres of total cargo space and some advanced features such as a special sunroof which can go from opaque to clear at the touch of a button.
