The all-new 2026 Toyota RAV4 is arriving in Canadian dealerships later this month with pricing that reflects notable upgrades across all seven hybrid grades. Starting at $37,500 MSRP for the base LE AWD, every trim now includes Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, larger touchscreens ranging from 10.5 to 12.9 inches, and a standard 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. These enhancements come alongside the RAV4's transition to a fully electrified lineup, with all models powered by Toyota's fifth-generation hybrid system delivering 236 hp.
For drivers in Whitby and across Ontario, understanding what each price point delivers helps clarify what each grade offers. The 2026 RAV4 pairs Canadian-built quality with advanced safety technology, connectivity features, and efficiency improvements. Here's how the pricing breaks down and what features justify each grade's MSRP.
The entry-level RAV4 LE AWD establishes a strong foundation at $37,500 MSRP. This grade includes the new Toyota Multimedia system with a 10.5-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and connected services including Safety Connect, Service Connect, and Remote Connect trials. The 12.3-inch multi-information display behind the steering wheel provides customizable driver information and integrated navigation.
Standard equipment extends to heated front seats, two-zone automatic climate control with rear AC ducts, Smart Key System with push-button start, and LED headlights. The LE rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and features fabric upholstery. Four exterior colours are available: Storm Cloud, Brown Sugar Metallic, White, and Midnight Black Metallic, all paired with a black interior.
The RAV4 XLE AWD starts at $41,300 MSRP and adds power-adjustable driver's seat, heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, power back door, five USB-C charging ports, and rain-sensing wipers. New for 2026, the XLE receives unique 18-inch alloy wheels, SofTex upholstery, leather-trimmed shift knob, wireless smartphone charging dock, and digital key functionality. Six colour combinations expand choice beyond the LE's offerings, adding Ruby Flare Pearl and Blueprint to the palette.
At $43,800 MSRP, the XLE Premium Package builds on the XLE with LED fog lamps, cargo net, and doorsill plates. The Premium grade introduces a panoramic moonroof and auto-dimming rearview mirror with integrated garage door opener. Wind Chill Pearl becomes available at this level, complementing the XLE's colour range.
The Woodland grade at $47,000 MSRP targets outdoor enthusiasts with adventure-focused equipment. This model includes Woodland all-weather floor mats and cargo tray, 120V/1500W AC power outlet in the cargo area, cargo net and liner, doorsill plates, rear bumper protector, and factory-installed tow hitch. New enhancements for 2026 include 18-inch black wheels with all-terrain tires, unique bumpers, grille, skid plate, and over-fenders, plus a power tilting/sliding moonroof and Rigid Industries LED fog lamps.
Woodland-exclusive styling cues extend to Side IP Storage units for modular accessories. Ten colour combinations provide extensive personalization, including two grade-exclusive options: Urban Rock and Everest. Buyers can choose between Black or Mineral interior finishes.
The Limited grade at $52,000 MSRP introduces premium comfort and advanced driver assistance features. This trim includes the 12.9-inch touchscreen Toyota Multimedia system with extended connected services, nine-speaker JBL Audio system, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats with driver's seat memory, and heated rear seats. The digital display rearview mirror includes an integrated garage door opener, while the power back door features kick sensor for hands-free operation.
New for 2026, the Limited adds shift-by-wire transmission with paddle shifters, Advanced Park, Traffic Jam Assist, Front Cross Traffic Alert with Braking, Lane Change Assist, panoramic moonroof, head-up display, and dual wireless charging docks. The Panoramic View Monitor provides comprehensive visibility around the vehicle. LED fog lights, cargo net and liner, doorsill plates, and rear bumper protector complete the package.
The XSE AWD at $50,900 MSRP brings sporty styling to the RAV4 lineup with distinctive front fascia, bumpers, over-fenders, and mirrors. Building on XLE equipment, the XSE adds nine-speaker JBL Audio system, SofTex upholstery with blue stitching, cargo net and liner, doorsill plates, and rear bumper protector. New features include 20-inch black alloy wheels, vertical LED accent fog lights, power tilting/sliding moonroof, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats with driver's seat memory, 12.9-inch touchscreen multimedia system with extended services, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and Panoramic View Monitor.
Four colour schemes are available, including three new two-tone options with black roofs: Wind Chill Pearl, Storm Cloud, and Brown Sugar Metallic. All XSE models feature black interiors.
The XSE Technology Package at $52,450 MSRP completes the lineup with advanced driver assistance technology. This grade adds shift-by-wire transmission, panoramic moonroof, Advanced Park, Traffic Jam Assist, Front Cross Traffic Alert with Braking, and Lane Change Assist. The digital display rearview mirror with garage door opener and power back door with kick sensor enhance convenience.
Every 2026 RAV4 includes Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, which updates detection capabilities for Pre-Collision System and Lane Tracing Assist. The system operates on the new Arene software development platform created by Woven by Toyota, serving as the foundation for safety features and multimedia functionality. Additional standard safety equipment includes Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The Toyota Multimedia system across all grades features 5G network connectivity, personalized user profiles, smartphone-like interface with customizable widgets, embedded Voice Assistant with faster "Hey Toyota" response times, and turn-by-turn navigation displayed on the digital gauge cluster. A standard built-in Drive Recorder can capture manual and triggered events using exterior cameras.
All models feature standard all-wheel drive, USB-C charging ports, improved multi-information display, LED headlights, and grade-specific alloy wheels. The hybrid powertrain delivers 236 hp while achieving fuel economy ratings ranging from 5.1 L/100 km (city) on the LE to 6.7 L/100 km (highway) on the Woodland.
